vaylens’ Fleet Charging module in short
Use the vaylens Fleet Charging module to manage driver access and billing on-site, at home and on the road.
Clear overview of the entire fleet’s charging in one place
Managing fleet charging at depots, drivers’ homes and on public roads can be a logistical nightmare. vaylens puts essential data such as employee IDs, cost centers, mileage tracking and cost monitoring all in one place, so you can easily monitor and manage your fleet's charging sessions across all sites.
Easy reimbursement of charging sessions
Track costs for each fleet vehicle, with all public charging sessions across the vaylens roaming network rolled into one monthly bill. Your employees and visitors can charge wherever they need to: at public chargers, at work with no invoices to handle, or at home, where electricity costs can be submitted for reimbursement.
Simple setup and legal compliance
Guided onboarding for home charging stations via the web, easily handled by the employee or technician — no need to access the employer's portal. Meanwhile, we prioritise legal compliance and ensure that electricity price proofs for home charging are always up to date.
How vaylens’ Fleet Charging module works
Here’s how vaylens’ Fleet Charging module works for the fleet manager when their fleet drivers are charging in public, at the depot or workplace, and at home.
For charging EVs in public
The fleet manager sets up a fleet account in their vaylens platform. Then, the fleet driver logs into the vaylens app (eCharge+) to charge at public EVcharging stations. Finally, vaylens invoices the fleet manager (or employer)for the fleet driver’s public charging sessions.
For charging EVs at work
The fleet manager sets up a fleet account in their vaylens platform. Then, the fleet driver logs into the the vaylens app (eCharge+) for complimentary charging sessions at the workplace.
For charging EVs at home
The employee submits their home electricity price and contract via the vaylens app (eCharge+). vaylens automatically documents all charging sessions and generates monthly receipts for both employees and employers. Employers can easily export a CSV file with reimbursement totals and import it into their accounting system for payouts.
